Today these watches are very rare and highly sought after by collectors. One possible historical reason for the existence of these watches lies in the equipment of the commandos, which included not only watches but also wrist compasses and depth gauges, both of which could be worn on the left in place of a watch. The Luminor 1950 Left-Handed 8 Days by Officine Panerai provides greater functionality and comfort to all those who prefer to wear the watch on their right wrist.
